When George returned to California as a missionary, he no longer saw the state simply as a place of ambition or opportunity. Instead, he experienced it as something deeper—sacred, complex, and very real. That shift in perspective changed how he approached music, grounding his creativity in service, reflection, and purpose. What followed was a long season of growth. He raised a family, built a studio in Utah, and continued refining his voice as an artist. Along the way, he formed a lasting musical partnership with Linsiana, a collaboration that helped define his evolving sound. Today, his music is shaped by deep creative relationships with artists including Brandi Lunsford, Kennedy Walden, and Aron Davila—proof that his work has always been rooted in connection and collaboration.

A GLOBAL FOUNDATION.
George’s musical journey began in the Philippines, where he fell in love with music by singing in a children’s choir, learning guitar, and playing percussion. After moving to California, his sound was influenced by the discipline and structure of his cousin’s classical piano training. His path later led him to the South, where he soaked up the rhythms of Cajun zydeco and began writing rock and country songs in South Carolina. All of these experiences came together over time, eventually shaping his skills into a focused craft through his involvement with the Atlanta Songwriters Association.

George’s signature sound is shaped by an obsession with California’s balance of shadow and light. His songwriting draws from the state’s deeper, often overlooked stories—the traditions of the Tongva people, the legacy of the Californios, the resilience of farmworkers, and the quiet witness of places like Manzanar. From the tech-lit energy of Silicon Beach and Silicon Valley to the environmental struggles of the Central Valley, George believes that truly loving California means seeing it whole—embracing both its beauty and its challenges.
